Epping Ongar Railway 

The longest heritage steam and diesel railway in Essex and the closest to London. Vintage buses to whisk you back in time to period stations and steam trains.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the train and on the stations and buses (at no charge). Water bowls are provided on the stations. We regret that Dogs are not allowed in First Class compartments/coaches.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the Spa Valley Railway, but please keep them on a lead at all times and do not allow them to sit on the seats . No charge for dogs. Wheelchair friendly.

Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary, Buttsbury, Near Ingatestone 

Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary provides lifetime help and care for horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, sheep, cows and cats.

Dogs are welcome at almost all of the events held at the Sanctuary.

We run two fun dog shows during the Summer, at our July and September Open Days. The Sanctuary opens its gates just six times a year

Dogs are allowed in all of the buildings and many dogs enjoy taking their owners around the new conservation path, for a lovely long walk.

Bodmin, Cornwall 01208 841369 We ask that dogs are kept on a lead around the immediate vicinity of the house and Peacock Cafe. However, once you are approaching the woodland walks, pease do let your dogs off the lead for a good run.

Dogs but are welcome in the seated area outside the Peacock Cafe and also in the picnic area. Water bowls are available outside the Gift Shop and the Cafe. Don't forget to reward your dog with a complimentary dog biscuit from the Gift Shop!

The dog poo bin is located at the entrance to the car park.

We have designated doggie tables in Planters Cafe, so dog lovers can sit together. Dogs are also welcome on the Cafe garden terrace and in the picnic area. Just ask a member of staff which tables are suitable.

Water bowls are available outside the Visitor Centre and we offer complimentary poop scoops to dog owners on arrival. There are 4 dog bins provided within the garden.

Dogs, on short leads, are welcome throughout the visitor and plant centre. They can also join you in the Garden Terrace Café. Please carry poop bags to clear up any mess; there are bins around the Arboretum.

Come rain or shine, Hestercombe is the perfect place to walk your dogs. We love seeing our regulars popping in each day for walkies, as well as meeting new faces throughout the year.

Please ensure you keep your dog on a short lead at all times and use the 'doggy bins' provided.

Although dogs can't go into the garden (except assistance dogs), the estate has miles of woodland walks and open parkland for you and your dog to enjoy.
