Haldon Forest Park  Dogs are certainly welcome at Haldon Forest Park - what better way for you and your dog to get some exercise? Dog waste bins are located in the main car park, on the road leading to the Forestry Commission Office, in the Mamhead car park, and at the entrance to the Mamhead Sensory Trail.

East beach: before 10am and after 6pm. Mainly sand and great fun for dogs who love to run in the sea as it is gently shelving.
West beach : dogs are allowed at any time, however, between 1st May and 30th Sept they MUST BE ON A LEAD

There are three and a half miles of beach and plenty of dunes to explore. Dogs are welcome at Studland but, for the enjoyment of others, restrictions are in place at certain times of year.

Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre - Nature Reserve  Well-behaved dogs are welcome on site, but please respect that this is a nature reserve with plenty of rare and easily-frightened wildlife, keeping your four-legged friends under close control (on a lead is just perfect) and making sure to pick up after them helps to keep the reserve a special place for all.
