Dogs, on leads, are welcome in the grounds, except on the playground area..

The beautiful, award winning gardens of Burton Agnes Hall offer something for everyone. From the walled garden, herbaceous borders and jungle garden, to the woodland walk with creepy crawlies to spot, as well as the maze and giant games for children and adults alike.

We happily allow dogs in our outside cafe seating area.

Dog Walkers and their dogs are welcome in the Clock Tower Café in the designated seating area all year round. Outside seating is also available.

An admission charge is made to the gardens during the summer months, however, entry is free throughout the winter.

Blickling Hall - Park and Woods - National Trust 

Dogs welcome in Blickling's parkland. Livestock graze freely, so please keep your dog under close control (see the website link below, for more information regarding 'close control') at all times.

Dogs should be on a lead when in the car park, farmyard picnic area and around the lake.

Please clear up dog waste and dispose of it sensibly in the bins provided in the car parks.

We ask that dogs are kept on a lead around the immediate vicinity of the house and Peacock Cafe as there are chickens and Peacocks within this area.. However, once you are approaching the woodland walks, please do let your dogs off the lead for a good run.

Dogs but are welcome in the seated area outside the Peacock Cafe and also in the picnic area. Water bowls are available outside the Gift Shop and the Cafe. Complimentary dog biscuit available in the Gift Shop!

Dogs are welcome in the garden and on the beach, all year round. On a lead at all times please.

We have designated doggie tables in Planters Cafe, so dog lovers can sit together. Dogs are also welcome on the Cafe garden terrace and in the picnic area. Just ask a member of staff which tables are suitable.

Water bowls are available outside the Visitor Centre and we offer complimentary poop scoops to dog owners on arrival. There are 4 dog bins provided within the garden.

Come rain or shine, Hestercombe is the perfect place to walk your dogs. We love seeing our regulars popping in each day for walkies, as well as meeting new faces throughout the year.

Please ensure you keep your dog on a short lead at all times and use the 'doggy bins' provided.

We also welcome dogs into the Stables Kitchen Cafe as well as the Gardens Shop.

Although dogs (except assistance dogs) aren't able to visit the gardens, the Trelissick estate has miles of woodland walks and open parkland for you and your dog to enjoy.

The Sheffield Round Walk  The Sheffield Round Walk is a fourteen mile walk through the parks, woodland and countryside of south west Sheffield. It starts in Endcliffe Park at Hunters Bar goes through Whiteley Woods up into Mayfield and Porter Valley, emerging at Ringinglow before descending again into Whirlow and Ecclesall Woods. There is an ascent into Ladies Spring Wood, through Beauchief and Chancet Wood then into Graves Park and down through Gleadless Valley, returning to Hunters Bar via Meersbrook Park and Brincliffe Edge Woods.

Rother Valley Country Park  This very large country park hosts a number of walking and cycling routes, which link to the Trans Pennine Trail and Route 6 Sustrans. Leisure lake offers many watersports activities and cycle hire, events are held throughout the year, three fishing areas and an ideal place to enjoy the outdoors. Great venue for a picnic, BBQ's are to be off the ground or visit the stables cafe with outdoor seating for your dog. Customers are to ensure their dogs are under control if off the lead in the park.
