Stowe Landscape Gardens - National Trust  

Dogs are welcome in gardens and parkland at Stowe, all year round.

Dog bins are provided throughout the gardens, plus there great places for a drink and good sniff around. Please keep your dog on a lead and picking up after it when in the landscape garden.

Trewidden Garden, Buryas Bridge, Penzance 

Trewidden Garden is a magnificent Cornish spring garden that is open to the public during the Spring, Summer and beginning of Autumn every year. Dogs are very welcome!

Light lunch & delicious homemade cream teas are available from our recently refurbished tea room. The lawn in front of the tearoom has plenty of picnic tables and room for children to play.

Greenway - National Trust - Home of Agatha Christie 

The beloved holiday home of the famous and much-loved author Agatha Christie and her family.

Dogs on leads are more than welcome at Greenway. Although we can't have dogs in the house, there is still plenty to keep them entertained, and the woodland and riverside are beautiful in rain or shine.

The courtyard is home to doggy waterbowls and tables to sit by while owners enjoy delicious refreshments from the cafè or Tack Room takeaway. There are also tethering rings where pooches can wait while owners wander around the house; the perfect place to rest after a long walk around the beautiful woodland garden.

Port Eliot House & Gardens - St Germans 

Port Eliot is a magnificent Grade 1 Listed house and gardens.

Dogs on leads are welcome in the beautiful gardens. Limited opening - usually March to June but please check website (link below) for full details.

The gorgeous Long Gallery Tea Room also welcomes dogs and is now open for hot drinks, light lunches and afternoon tea, 9am – 5pm.

Waymarked walks and cycle routes. Dog drinking bowls around the cafe and dogs welcome inside.

Dogs should be kept under close control, or on leads, as required.

The Trentham Estate - award-winning gardens 

Dogs are welcomed into all areas of the gardens, lakeside, parkland and woodland, the only exceptions being the children's play area, barefoot walk and Capability Centre.

Dogs are welcome inside, and out, at Cadwaladers Cafe and also in the outside areas of the other eateries on the estate. To avoid having to take a muddy dog home, there is a Doggie Wash at Tretham Shopping Village - but remember to bring your own towel!

Dogs should be kept on a short lead at all times. Please remember to clean up after your dog, there are lots of bins on the Estate.

P.S. ...there are FAIRIES at the bottom of Trentham Gardens...

Penrose Estate Gunwalloe and Loe Pool - National Trust 

Wooded country around Cornwall's largest natural lake. Loe Pool, the largest natural freshwater lake in Cornwall, is cut off from the sea by a broad shingle bar heaped up by heavy Atlantic seas.

The surrounding Penrose Estate is a mixture of rich farmland and woodland around Loe Pool, through which there are many paths to explore.

The Painswood Rococo Garden is a great place for walking with dogs, though they must be kept on a lead at all times.

Although the garden is know as one of the top places to visit for snowdrops the Painswick Rococo Garden is a garden for all seasons. Magical follies & the Hidden valley make this a place for fun and exploration.

West Dean Gardens is nestled at the foot of the South Downs,

Explore a wide range of features as you walk around the grounds. Visit the restored walled kitchen garden, the sunken garden and the 300 foot Edwardian pergola.

Dogs on a short lead are welcome at the Gardens. Please clean up after your dog. Bags are available from the Gardens Shop and a bin is located outside the gift shop. Water bowls are also provided. Please be aware that sheep freely roam the fields.

Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury 

Dogs, on leads, are welcome throughout the stunning 36 acres of parkland at Glastonbury Abbey .

They request dogs remain on a lead, at all times, as there are badgers, squirrels and ducks on site. Two 'dog loos' can be found within the grounds. In summer a water bowl is provided by St. Patricks Chapel.

Dogs are welcome at Castle Howard grounds, please keep them on a lead at all times and always clear up after them

Dogs are welcome in the at the outdoor seating areas in the cafés, and water bowls are provided.

Well behaved dogs are welcome inside our Courtyard Cafe and free bones are available from the Farm Shop (subject to availability!).

Dogs are not permitted in the Adventure Playground, Skelf Island or House, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway  Dogs, on a short lead, are welcome at Exbury Gardens, in the New Forest. There are over 22 miles of pathways to explore. Dog bins are situated throughout the gardens.

Well behaved dogs are free of charge on the Railway and also allowed into the visitor restaurant.
